The Mary Black Foundation was established as an independent grantmaking organization focused on improving the health and wellness of the people and communities of Spartanburg County, SC.
Program Director, Early Childhood Development
Keisha Gray joined the Mary Black Foundation in November 2015. She works as the Program Director for the Early Childhood Development focus area at the Foundation. A native of Spartanburg, Keisha began her professional career working in program development and administration with the Piedmont Chapter American Red Cross and later the Urban League of the Upstate. After a successful career in Human Resources at the Spartanburg Herald-Journal and later the Sarasota Herald-Tribune, she and her family returned to Spartanburg. Keisha serves on the board of the Spartanburg Preparatory School (SPS) and also volunteers her time through various community activities through her membership in the Junior League of Spartanburg.
Keisha has a Master of Arts degree in Human Resource Development, as well as a B.S. in Biology, with a minor in Psychology, from the University of South Carolina. She and her husband are the proud parents of five amazing children.
